Position Overview
What the role is:
The role supports the Events team with on and offsite events. The ideal candidate will have 7 to 9 years of events experience, preferably in the hospitality or whole-of-government setting.
What you will be working on:- Report directly to the Senior Manager
- Manage live and virtual events
- Plan, liaise and consult with multiple teams to organize cohesive events
- Handle event production including but not limited to site research, contract negotiation, run‑of‑event processes, scheduling, build and update budget matrix, guest registration management, seating and parking management, vendor selection, follow‑up materials, post‑event data management and attendee analysis
- Build and distribute electronic invitation collaterals
- Develop, maintain and monitor event registration and attendance reports
