Position Overview

We have an exciting opportunity for Marine Electrician in Norfolk, Virginia for with one of our Clients in the Ship Repair Industry. 
 
Qualifications:
  • Must be able to obtain DBIDS
  • Must have at least five years of experience as a shipboard Electrician in the maritime industry.
  • Must have OSHA 10 certification
  • Perform work requiring a thorough knowledge of electrical theory and principles, statutory codes, properties of materials and principles of operation of electrical equipment under direction of supervisor.
  • Ensure compliance of OSHA, USCG, ABS, U.S. Navy and company safety requirements concerning work assignments
  • Prepare and install equipment or system alterations in accordance with the technical specifications.
