Position Overview
**Job Title:** Material Handler Night Shift 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM
**Location:** Florham Park, NJ
**Pay:** $20 - $21 hour
**Job Description**
The Material Handler plays a key role in supporting melt shop operations by safely sorting, tagging, and organizing scrap materials for internal use. This position works in a heavy industrial environment and requires strong physical stamina, attention to detail, and basic math and measuring skills to ensure materials are properly identified and prepared for processing.
**Responsibilities**
+ Check every piece of internally generated scrap material for suitability and proper use in the VIM process.
+ Gather material to be sorted and transport it safely to the melt shop.
+ Maintain clear segregation of red-tagged and yellow-tagged material within the melt shop at all times.
+ Properly tag all material that has been sorted to ensure accurate identification and tracking.
