Job Purpose

Under the general guide and supervision of Chief Technician and within assignments allocated on a daily basis by Area Superintendent the jobholder performs a range of predominantly mechanical repair and preventive maintenance tasks on site and in the Ghusais workshop. NOTE: Where possible on site visits, mechanical fitters will also be assigned electrical tasks. In the workshop there is greater specialization especially on more complex jobs.

Principal Accountabilities
