Job Description

Position: Mechanical Assembler


Dayshift: 6am to 3pm Monday to Friday


Payrate: to per hour (DOE)


Permanent after 3 months of probation

Our client is a roll forming equipment manufacturer. They are looking for Mechanical Assemblers to add to their Custom Machine shop


DUTIES

  • Assemble a variety of machinery and equipment by reading blueprints, bills of material and traveler.
  • Operate hand tools and portable powered hand tools.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical problems on mechanical sub-assemblies and main machine assembly by using problem solving techniques.
  • Operate a forklift and/or crane to move heavy objects.
  • Use measuring tools to meet very precise tolerances.
  • Provide updates to engineering department so drawings can be changed to reflect changes made during the assembly process.<...
