Position Overview

Wood is currently sourcing a Mechanical Package Engineer (Rotating) to support the Engineering Hub in Aberdeen for a duration of 6 months.


The Mechanical Package Engineer (Rotating Equipment) reporting to Mechanical & HVAC Lead will be an integral part of PDE Project Management Team, working collaboratively within the PDE organization, systems, procedures, and methods. This role has been identified as a “Key Position” within project organisation of PDE and it is required that the successful candidate be willing to continue to work in this position from project phase into the EPC phase.


  • Technical education on bachelor level or higher within Mechanical Engineering
  • Extensive relevant experience within Mechanical package engineering discipline and strong track record of handling rotating equipment packages (specifically centrifugal and screw compressors, high pressure pumps . Specific experience of Project and early package engineering is desired
