As an Assembly Technician, you will play a crucial role in assembling both sub-assemblies and final products. Your work will primarily involve using common hand tools and following drawings and manufacturing procedures in a clean shop environment. Beyond mechanical assembly, the role also requires light electrical assembly. You will be responsible for building equipment primarily for Strainoptics devices, with additional tasks involving subassembly for other products as your experience and efficiency grow. Part of your responsibilities will include validating, checking, and calibrating the products. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a sense of urgency, comfortable working in a small team, and able to follow drawings and procedures.
