Mechanical Technician

Overview

The role involves performing installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical systems and equipment used in production.

Responsibilities

• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of mechanical equipment such as conveyors, mixers, pumps, compressors, and packaging machines.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical faults to minimize equipment downtime.
• Perform installation and alignment of motors, gearboxes, and rotating equipment.
• Assist in the setup and maintenance of production machinery and utilities.
• Maintain records of maintenance work and report equipment performance.
• Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and quality standards in the food processing environment.
• Support continuous improvement activities and machine upgrades.
