Merchandise Coordinator

The Merchandise Coordinator is responsible for providing timely, accurate reports to the Merchandising Team, using standardized reporting processes.

Creates and coordinates purchase order process for all product lines, promotional and regular price events, and store transfer requests for all product categories.

Assists in building ad-hoc data analysis using spreadsheets and query tools.

Essential Functions:

• Coordinates, creates and manages transfers for cross departmental Scout Shop Programs (New Stores, Camp Schools, Jamboree, etc.).


• Serves as point of contact for Scout Shop inventory and pricing Issues.  Consolidates store product requests into master file and determines actions to be taken.
• Reviews back-orders and follows up with Merchandise Planners to advise of merchandise needs.  Ensures timely reaction and adjustment of order quantities to maximize sales and inventory productivity.
