MFL Teacher

Position Overview

MFL Teacher – full time, with potential transition to permanent contract. Commences 1st September 2026.

This role involves teaching pupils how to speak, read, write and listen in French and Spanish, as well as introducing them to cultural aspects of the languages.

Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare effective schemes of learning and lessons
• Use innovative and diverse teaching methods that support the national curriculum
• Use regular assessments to monitor progress and set targets

Required Qualifications

• Qualified Teaching Status (QTS)
• Valid DBS
• Registered with the Educational Workforce Council (EWC)

Desirable Skills

• Full driving licence and access to a car
• Resident in or near Vale of Glamorgan
