MICROBIOLOGY –REGISTRAR PART TIME (Commencing immediately)

<p><strong>Contract info:</strong> Commencing Immediately. 12 month contract. Part time contract: 19.5 hours per week.</p> <p>The Microbiology Department in the Mater Hospital provides a clinical microbiology service to the hospital and general practice in the catchment area. Services include bacteriology, mycology, parasitology, tuberculosis, and a molecular diagnostic service. The Microbiology department has four Consultant Clinical Microbiologists, three Specialists Registrars, and two Registrars. Microbiology registrars are well supervised, with several consultant led multi -disciplinary team meetings (MDTs) weekly. These include daily MDTs in the intensive care unit, in addition to Vascular MDTs, Heart and Lung transplant MDTs, Orthopaedic MDTs, Haematology MDTs, and Infectious Diseases MDTS.</p> <p>Duties of the post include authorizing laboratory results, ph...
