Position Overview

St. Coleman Catholic School in Pompano Beach, Florida is looking for a full-time Middle School Religion Teacher to teach grades 7 and 8 for the 2026-27 school year. The teacher’s duties are to achieve the goals of Catholic education; show evidence of knowledge of the Catholic philosophy of education; promote Catholic values; uphold the standards of the Catholic Church; and provide opportunities for the students to be prepared for life in today’s Church and society. The Middle School Religion Teacher performs all duties and responsibilities in alignment with the mission, vision, and values of the Catholic Archdiocese of Miami. Salary will vary based on education and years of service.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Theology, Education, or related field.

  • Current Catechist certification preferred but may be in the process of obtaining certification for consideration.
