Job Summary

My client in the metal industry is seeking a Millwright whowill ensure maintenance including problem solving, ensure minimum downtime.

Qualifications Qualified and Trade Tested as a Millwright Must have at least 5 years work experience inthe steel industry Must be prepared to work shifts Weekend work is required on a rotational basis Sound knowledge and experience in mechanicalworks Knowledge of PLC control systems would be anadvantageous Must be prepared to work overtime scheduled orunscheduled outside of the normal hours Duties & Responsibilities Checking and inspecting machinery, placingorders with buyer for parts and reporting issues to the Maintenance Manager or Section Head Ensuring that all equipment and machinery ismaintained and fit for purpose Generating and executing job cards daily forplanned preventative maintenance and breakdowns Reviewing job cards or operations from theprevious day to identify problems and corrective actions required Carrying out br...
