Job Description Summary

Under the oversight of the MRI Supervisor and/or Lead Technologist, assists the MRI Technologist in performing a variety of duties and procedures necessary for the everyday operations of the MRI Department and patient schedule.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO: Follows all MRI Safety Policies. Screens patients, obtains pertinent clinical history before MRI examination and reviews with the MRI Technologist. Greets patients in a prompt and courteous manner. Assists patient with changing for the exam. Assists in sliding patient on and off stretcher to MRI scan table. Assists Technologist with positioning of patients.
