Network Engineer (La Chimba)

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and maintain LAN, WAN, and wireless networks.
• Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and provide timely resolutions.
• Implement and maintain network security measures including firewalls, VPNs, and access controls.
• Support SD-WAN migrations and optimize network traffic flows.
• Document network configurations, processes, and procedures.
• Perform network upgrades and patch management.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Network Engineer or in a similar networking role.
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, etc.).
• Experience with network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls) from vendors like Cisco, Juniper, or Fortinet.
• Familiarity with SD‑WAN solutions and cloud networking.
• Understanding of network security principles and best practices.
