Position Overview
Job summary
We are offering a fixed term contract until July 2027 for secondment cover with our friendly, enthusiastic team at Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge as a Band 7 Nuclear Medicine Physicist. We work in a large, newly refurbished department that offers a wide range of diagnostic procedures and therapies, including SIRT, PRRT and PSMA. We have three SPECT/SPECT-CT systems, a PET-CT scanner and a large radiopharmacy. This year we are installing state-of-the-art imaging equipment in the form of 3D SPECT-CT and LAFOV PET-CT machines. We also provide MPE/physics support for four Nuclear Medicine departments at regional hospitals.
We are a forward-thinking group with close ties to the University of Cambridge, and we are involved in some exciting research projects, especially early phase MRT trials.
