The Lac La Ronge Indian Band’s Education Department is now accepting applications to fill the following Full-Time Permanent position based out of Mikisiw Awasis Early Learning Centre in La Ronge, SK:


Nutrition Worker


Duties include:

  • Preparation of nutritious meals and snacks for children aged 0 years and older.

  • Ensure food is appropriately prepped for children aged 0 and older (bite sizes, texture, etc.)

  • Maintain and sanitize cooking facility and equipment.

  • Monitor and maintain the inventory of food and supplies.

  • Order food/supplies for weekly meals in an efficient and cost-effective manner.

  • Works closely with all staff to ensure special diets (allergies, religious) are being addressed.
