Description

We are looking to recruit a highly motivated occupational therapist to join our team of forensic occupational therapists and therapy assistants. The post holder will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team providing specialist assessments and therapeutic interventions to detained female patients within our 12 bedded medium secure ward. The successful candidate will have experience working with complex and challenging conditions and a good knowledge of occupational therapy input into risk assessment and risk management. Standardised clinical tools based on the Model of Human Occupation will be utilised where appropriate. The role includes supervising other members of the occupational therapy team and contributing to service developments.
