This is a fixed‑term secondment for 12 months to cover maternity leave. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

The role involves supporting the Acute Stroke Unit Therapy Team with functional assessment, rehabilitation, discharge planning, and group sessions for neuro patients.

Responsibilities

• Assist occupational therapists in the therapeutic management of patients.
• Facilitate and participate in ongoing patient treatment and assessment under supervision.
• Adjust own clinical interventions based on the fluctuating needs of patients under OT supervision.
• Assist in the implementation, evaluation, and modification of OT interventions.
• Conduct assessment of patients’ functional activities, including personal care assessments, meal preparation, and home visits as required.
