Operational Engineer – Wireless Messaging (SMS/MMS)

This position is fully on site in Ridgeland, MS (no remote or hybrid) Job Summary We are seeking an Operational Engineer with hands-on experience in wireless messaging systems, specifically SMS and MMS.

The role involves monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing messaging platforms, ensuring high availability, reliability, and performance across telecom networks.

Key Responsibilities Monitor and maintain SMS/MMS platforms, gateways, and messaging infrastructure.

Troubleshoot delivery issues across carrier networks and aggregators.

Analyze logs, delivery receipts (DLRs), and message flows to identify failures.

Ensure uptime, system performance, and SLA compliance.

Work with telecom protocols such as SMPP , MM7 , HTTP APIs , and signaling systems.

Collaborate with carriers, vendors, and internal teams for issue resolution.

Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures.
