Optical Communications Engineer

CSIT develops solutions to advance the national security interests of Singapore. In the domain of optical communications, customised solutions are required to efficiently transport and distribute information between data systems.

As an optical communications engineer, you will leverage on commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) products to develop customised optical communications solutions to meet stakeholder’s needs.

• Conduct research and development (R&D) on the latest and upcoming optical communications systems.
• Evaluate new products and a wide range of interesting optical communications technologies.
• Conceptualise, design and develop advanced optical communications solutions by integrating in‑house development and COTS products.
