PACS/RIS Analyst (Winnipeg)

OVERVIEW

Reporting to the Radiology Information Systems Analyst/PACS Administrator, the RIS/PACS Analyst is responsible for the effective support, maintenance, configuration, and operation of Medical Imaging information systems, including Cerner RadNet (RIS), Sectra PACS, and the full suite of Cath Lab & Arrhythmia Program clinical applications. This role ensures that diagnostic imaging workflows, image availability, report distribution, and provincial reporting requirements remain accurate, reliable, and compliant with hospital and Ministry standards. The RIS/PACS Analyst provides primary support for Cath Lab & Arrhythmia Program applications and acts as backup coverage for RIS operations during planned and unplanned absences, working closely with Radiology, Cardiology, Finance, IT, and external vendors to ensure that clinical systems are stable, secure, and optimized for performance.
