Path 1 Kawader Research Assistant – High Energy Astrophysics

NYU Abu Dhabi invites applications for a Kawader Research Assistant Fellow position in High Energy Astrophysics within the research group of Prof. Gelfand.

Our Galaxy the Milky Way produces particles far more energetic than achievable on Earth. The successful candidate will analyze and interpret observational data related to high-energy phenomena in our Galaxy including the evolution of massive stars and search for new physics using neutron stars and ionized gas.

The successful candidate will work under the supervision of Prof. Joseph Gelfand and collaborate with researchers at NYU Abu Dhabi and internationally. This position provides hands-on experience in astrophysical data analysis scientific computing and collaborative research in a dynamic academic environment.
