PhD Position in Gravity and Cosmology

BITS Pilani, Dubai Campus invites applications for one fully funded Ph.D. position under the Institute Fellowship Scheme in the broad area of Gravitational Physics, focusing on Black Holes, Cosmology, and Modified Gravity, under the supervision of Dr. Krishnakanta Bhattacharya.

We are seeking a highly motivated candidate with a strong background in theoretical physics and an enthusiasm for research in gravitation and cosmology. Applicants should possess a Master's degree in Physics or a closely related discipline, preferably from a reputed institution. A solid understanding of Classical Mechanics, Quantum Mechanics, Electrodynamics, Mathematical Physics, and General Relativity is expected.

Prior exposure to Differential Geometry, Tensor Calculus, Cosmology, or Classical Field Theory will be considered an advantage. Experience with symbolic or numerical computation using Mathematica, Python, or similar scientific software is desirable.
