PhD Student: Autonomous Robotics for Extreme Environments

Tampereen yliopisto is seeking highly motivated PhD students for a pioneering research project on autonomous mobile robots. These full-time positions, lasting three years, focus on robotics challenges in harsh environments, such as Finnish winter forests.

The ideal candidates will have a strong background in robotics, signal processing, and machine learning. Responsibilities include contributing to the design and development of robots that can operate autonomously in difficult conditions.

A starting salary is approximately 2800 € per month, influenced by personal performance and experience.
