What you will be doing:

As a Physician Assistant or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse 2, you will provide direct patient care at the Alaska Psychiatric Institute, including assessments, diagnostic testing, diagnosis, treatment planning, and medication management as well as support department wide healthcare operations in collaboration with the supervising Medical Officer. This includes maintaining staffing schedules, overseeing emergency crash carts, and ensuring units have necessary crash cart supplies and training. You will assign and review work, as well as evaluate performance. Additionally, you will serve as a medical resource and mentor for clinical and facility staff.
