Planner (Strategic Planning/Planning Policies)

Long-term planning has shaped the city that we live in today. Our long-term plans guide the development of Singapore, mapping out strategic land uses and infrastructure needs over the next 50 years and beyond. In this position, you play a key role in reviewing and updating Singapore’s Long Term Land Use Plan based on evolving trends and changing demands of a variety of key concerns such as transportation, housing, aging, environmental impact and sustainability in our Strategic Planning or Planning Policies Department.

You will help to draw up strategic land use and infrastructure plans to guide Singapore’s long term physical development, formulate and review land use policies and translate them into detailed planning guidelines to facilitate implementation.
