About us 

At the department of research and education are performed in the areas of Communications, Antennas and Optical Networks, Systems and Control, Signal processing and Biomedical engineering, and Electric Power Engineering. We work with sustainable and smart solutions to societal challenges, such as energy efficiency and electrification in areas ranging from transport and production systems to communication solutions and biomedical engineering.

The Automatic Control division conducts research and education in the analysis and control of dynamic systems. Our work combines fundamental control theory with applications in areas such as transportation, environmental and biological systems, and electric power systems. The division also teaches control engineering at both undergraduate and graduate level at Chalmers, including within the masters programme Systems, Control and Mechatronics.
