Postdoctoral Researcher – XLZD experiment

Job Description

We are seeking applications from recent particle physics graduates for a Postdoctoral Research Fellow position with the XLZD-Canada group at TRIUMF.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of XLZD sensitivity studies for 0νββ searches, both for the experiment’s baseline detector design and for alternative photosensor assembly concepts.
• Contribute to the development and validation of the XLZD simulation framework.
• Perform sensitivity studies using advanced statistical and machine learning techniques.
• Support calibration studies and detector R&D activities conducted at TRIUMF in support of 0νββ searches.
• Prepare technical reports and disseminate results through peer-reviewed publications, conference presentations, and workshops.
• Contribute to the supervision and mentoring of undergraduate and graduate students.
