Position Overview

Job Description
Within the Powertrain Engine & Transmission Design Team, the Layout Designer is responsible for preparing designs, layouts, assemblies, and drawings in line with engineering specifications using PTC Creo. The role covers the full design lifecycle, from initial concept through to production release.
Key Responsibilities
The following are typical responsibilities for a Senior Layout Designer:
Most of the time will be spent creating and releasing 3D models and drawings of complex engine parts or assemblies, within the Creo and Windchill environments.
Plan, organise, and coordinate your workload, providing regular progress updates to relevant stakeholders.
Ensure designs meet safety, quality, reliability, development timeline, and cost objectives defined by the product planning function.
