Position Overview

The Department of Transportation and Infrastructure (DTI) is seeking a Preparedness and Mitigation Manager (Engineer 3) to join its Emergency Management Branch. Reporting to the Assistant Director, the successful candidate will lead emergency preparedness, response, and mitigation initiatives to strengthen the resilience of New Brunswick's transportation network.

Key Responsibilities

Lead emergency preparedness, response, and mitigation initiatives to reduce disaster impacts.

Coordinate emergency planning, policy development, and climate resilience projects with internal and external stakeholders.

Represent the department at the Provincial Emergency Operations Centre during emergency events.

Review and update emergency management plans, policies, and operational procedures.

Conduct after-action reviews to identify improvements following emergency responses.
