Preventive Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Responsible as site electrical chargeman
• Maintain all plant equipment and machinery at optimum operating condition
• Carry out planned preventive maintenance
• Minimize unexpected breakdown
• Co‑ordinate with spare parts supplier, service agent and contractor to troubleshoot problems immediately
• Carry out day‑to‑day repair and maintenance jobs
• Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance
• Maintain and upkeep all maintenance related data and records as required by Hempel Group
• Minimize dependence on external contractors for repair or maintenance jobs
• Work as a team closely with production, QC and other plant departments
• Maintain and ensure accuracy of maintenance spare part stocks
• Ensure adherence to site safety at all times
