Principal Java Engineer - Serverless Distributed Systems

Elastic in Portugal is seeking a Principal Software Engineer for the Elasticsearch - Distributed Systems team, focusing on scale, performance, and resilience in our Serverless offering. You will own end-to-end features across multi-node clusters, improve indexing consistency, maintain cluster coordination, and push shard and data capacity while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
