General Summary

As Principal of Technical Standards, you will work closely with internal and external partners to improve and evolve industry technical standards while representing Qualcomm as a delegate in standardization forums. Your responsibilities include understanding semiconductor industry landscapes and domestic & international competitors’ strengths and weaknesses; identifying existing and emerging standards for Qualcomm; developing and promoting standards; formulating, maintaining, and executing Qualcomm’s semiconductor standards strategy; and working with attorneys to file patents that protect novel IP aspects of any inventions.
