Process Safety Engineer Location: Reading, UK Pay: £84,200 - £114,000 per annum Our Client, a leading player in the petrochemical and refining sector, is hiring for a reputable client involved in a major project to enhance the olefins value chain and refinery upgrades. What you'll be doing: Provide technical leadership in process safety, ensuring design and engineering work aligns with safety standards and project objectives. Collaborate with project teams and contractors to identify, assess, and mitigate safety risks throughout the pre-FEED and FEED stages. Develop and review safety standards, philosophies, and specifications, ensuring compliance with industry and company safety requirements. Lead or support safety risk assessments, including PHAs, HAZOPs, and consequence analyses, to ensure robust safety measures are in place.
