Position Overview

The Procurement Controller supports the procurement function by controlling day‑to‑day purchasing activities, ensuring accurate ordering, cost awareness, supplier coordination, and compliance with internal procedures. The role focuses on stock availability, price accuracy, and supporting margin control within a liquor redistribution environment.

Key Responsibilities

Procurement & Purchasing Control

  • Process and control purchase orders for liquor and related products in line with approved demand and budgets
  • Request, compare, and capture supplier pricing and quotations
  • Ensure correct pricing, pack sizes, and supplier terms are loaded and maintained on the system
  • Monitor purchase price changes and escalate variances to management

Supplier Coordination

  • Liaise with approved liquor suppliers, brand owners, and distributors regarding orders and deliveries
