Position Overview
Summary You will serve on the waterfront as a PRODUCTION CONTROLLER in the Virginia Class Project Office of SUPERVISOR OF SHIPBUILDING GROTON. Responsibilities You will review ship and/or system specifications, contract plans, basic contracts, HMR/FMR's, schedules, test forms, contractor and government procedures, technical reports, Engineering Reports, correspondence and other information. You will identify potential problems in the areas requiring special coordination efforts and consult with various specialists at this activity and other government/ commercial activities in obtaining necessary guidance and/or direction. You will coordinate communications relative to the identification of all deficiencies, assign responsibility for corrective action, and initiate work authorization for those items deemed to be the responsibility of the government to correct.
