Professorship in Applied Microeconomics (Open Rank)

Overview

The Faculty of Management, Economics and Social Sciences of the University of Fribourg (Switzerland) invites applications for a Professorship in Applied Microeconomics (Open Rank) at the Department of Economics. The expected start date is August 1 or September 1, 2027.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will teach courses in French and English at the Bachelor’s and Master’s levels. Two courses will be given in French in Microeconomics at the Bachelor’s level. The research profile as well as offered Master courses should fall within applied microeconomics. Possible areas include, for example, labour economics, health economics, education economics, competition, personnel economics, or innovation economics. The position includes one 100% doctoral assistant .
