Program Analyst

Summary The Specialty Care Program Analyst position is in the Office of the Chief, Medicine Service, at the G.V. (Sonny) Montgomery VA Medical Center / Station 586 in Jackson, MS. The incumbent serves as the primary coordinator (ADPAC) and Medicine Service program analyst, providing expert leadership in clinical informatics, business process analysis, and performance improvement related to Medicine's use of Vista/CPRS and other clinical and administrative information systems. Responsibilities Major duties include, but are not limited to: Serves as the principal ADPAC and functional expert for Medicine Service for PIMS, CPRS, and related VistA packages, ensuring that software functionality fully supports Medicine clinical workflows. Ensures compliance with information security, Privacy Act, and cybersecurity requirements related to system access, menu assignments, terminal and file security, and sensitive clinical data.
