Position Overview

Summary This position is part of the Organization of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. The incumbent will drive policies to improve quality of life for military families and veterans. Oversight includes family readiness, education, child/youth services, transition assistance, wounded warrior/caregiver support, economic security, spouse employment, total force fitness, and abuse prevention. Responsibilities As a PROGRAM ANALYST (MILITARY FAMILY & VETERAN PROGRAMS) at the GS-0343-14 some of your typical work assignments may include: Serves as the principal point of contact, subject matter expert, and action officer for the JS on military family and veteran issues.
