Program Support Assistant

Summary As a Program Support Assistant for Diagnostic Imaging at the Las Vegas Nevada Healthcare System, the Program Support Assistant provides a high level of administrative and data support to DI to include the Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCs), as well as, to the VALASHCS. The primary function of this position Is to make eligibility determinations for VA healthcare which requires an extensive knowledge of VA laws, directives, policies, and procedures. Responsibilities Duties include but are not limited to: Maintains timekeeping files, documentation, and audit materials in accordance with VA policy. Initiates and prepares procurement requests, verifies supporting documentation, and tracks actions through completion. Supports contracting activities by gathering requirements, drafting supporting documentation, and maintaining procurement records.
