ALBA

ALBA is the Spanish synchrotron light source, a large research infrastructure operating ten beamlines and an Electron Microscopy Center. It is located in Cerdanyola del Vallès (Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain) and is funded by the Spanish and Catalan governments. The synchrotron is used by thousands of researchers to analyse and understand the properties and functionality of matter across a wide variety of fields.

Responsibilities

• Cryogenic Systems Design and Integration: design and develop cryogenic systems and infrastructures for accelerators, beamlines and scientific instrumentation, ensuring proper integration.
• Project Engineering: lead technical aspects throughout all project phases, including conceptual design, specifications, reviews, manufacturing follow‑up, installation, commissioning and operation.
