Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

UltaCare Medical has an immediate opening for part-time Geri-psych Nurse Practitioner. Under the supervision of a supervising psychiatrist, the Psych NP will provide assessment, diagnosis and management of mental health and psychiatric conditions. This role is focused on optimizing treatment to yield better response, reduced side effects, and improved quality of life.

Anxiety, depression, dementia, grief and loss and a variety of other mental health conditions are prominent challenges in nursing home populations and these residents deserve a mental health specialist that can help them deal with these challenges.
