Position Overview
Job Summary
The PTW (Permit to Work) Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and administering the Permit to Work the PTW and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) systems to ensure all construction and commissioning activities are performed safely and in compliance with company procedures, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices. The role coordinates permit issuance, work authorization, energy isolation activities, and SIMOPS management while ensuring that hazards are properly identified, risks are assessed, and effective control measures are in place before work begins.
The PTW Coordinator works closely with Operations, Construction, Commissioning, Maintenance, and Contractor teams to review and approve work permits, verify isolation requirements, and ensure safe execution of high-risk activities such as hot work, confined space entry, electrical work, lifting operations, and line breaking.
