Position Overview
Responsibilities:
Coordinate / track movement of parts through logistic pathways.
Execute logistics plan to move products and packages to reach destinations on schedule. Review freight rates and other transportation costs to keep working costs low.
Maintains quality throughout the logistic processes.
Process payments such as broker’s billings, charges with bank, advances by broker, local insurance etc.
Prepares inputs on the weekly Import Logistics status report for shipments and updates accordingly
Responsible for processing of incoming shipping documents (order for brokerage, local insurance)
Maintain and ensure completeness of Import files
Checks computation of final taxes/duties on all shipments
Perform other tasks that may be assigned from time to time
