QC/QA Chemist - Day Shift - Maternity Leave Coverage (10-12 months)

The Opportunity:

Ensure that all bulk and finished goods are sampled, analyzed, tested and inspected according to established procedures, compendia and standard testing methods while under minimal supervision. The working hours for this role is from 7am - 3pm, Day Shift.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Prepare samples and analyze bulk and Finished Good samples and maintain required documentation and records of analysis.
• Maintain and control all bulk and Finished Good standards or masters.
• Perform instrumental and wet chemistry tasks, set up and operate lab instrumentation such as IR, pH meter, viscometer, convection oven, etc., if required by the test method.
• Perform general maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment according to established calibration program.
