R&D Engineer VCSEL Development (Hiring Immediately)

Primary Duties & Responsibilities Create and develop VCSEL devices for advanced sensing technologies and applications. Ensure simulation models accurately represent device behavior and convert models into practical designs. Plan, execute, and oversee experiments to test and confirm effectiveness and performance of the VCSEL designs. Work closely with customers to understand needs and performance criteria and deliver designs that exceed expectations. Create and apply methods and systems to precisely measure and evaluate the performance of VCSEL devices. Education & Experience Minimum 5 years of experience in opto‑electronic device development and characterization – epitaxy, fabrication and testing. PhD degree or equivalent in Semiconductors, Laser Physics or Engineering. Preferred background in laser design, device modelling, epitaxy, wafer fabrication and lab‑based testing.
