Refuse Loader

We are currently recruiting for 3 refuse loaders for our client based in Canterbury and have an induction date available.

This role is Monday to Friday for the right person, up to 39 hours per week.

0600-0645 start.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work as part of a crew to collect refuse and recycling from residential and business addresses
• Load bins and bags onto the collection vehicle
• Ensure waste is collected efficiently, safely and on schedule
• Provide excellent service to the public and represent the council/company positively
• Follow health and safety guidelines at all times

Requirements:

• Physically fit - the role involves walking long distances and heavy lifting
• Punctual, reliable and a team player
• Able to work in all weather conditions
• Previous experience is a bonus, but not essential - full training provided
