Regional Climate Change Coordinator

Overview

The Dene National / Assembly of First Nations Office (NWT) is seeking a mature individual to fill the position of: REGIONAL CLIMATE CHANGE COORDINATOR.

Responsibilities

• Report directly to the Director of Lands and Environment of the Dene Nation; the incumbent will deliver climate related environmental programs and projects for the Dene National Office.
• Act as liaison between the Dene National Office, Assembly of First Nations, Regional governments, Dene First Nations, other related government agencies and departments, private industry, businesses and any other individuals, groups, or agencies.
• Assist with arrangements for Dene Nation Leadership, Executive, Elder’s Council, Annual General Meeting and other meetings.
