Position Overview

Regional Sanction Manager - UAE

Location: Ebury Dubai Office - Hybrid: 4 days in the office, 1 day working from home per week

The Regional Sanctions Manager (UAE & MENA) is responsible for overseeing Ebury’s sanctions compliance framework within the Middle East, with a primary focus on the UAE. This role ensures that regional operations are fully aligned with the Central Bank of the UAE and, where applicable, other relevant regulatory authorities.

What you’ll do

  • Local Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to UAE Federal Decree‑Laws regarding AML/CFT and Targeted Financial Sanctions (TFS), specifically managing the immediate “freezing without delay” requirements for the UAE Local Terrorist List and UN Consolidated List, including local reporting requirements.
  • Sanctions Risk Management: Conduct comprehensive risk assessments of the UAE and MENA customer base and report any significant risks identified to the Group Head of Sanctions....
